Indian Antique Brass Horse Temple Toy Andre Dimanche carving Almost all Shiva temples displayThis is a charming old Indian cast brass horse temple toy, which would have been gifted to a temple as a devotional offering to Hindu deities. I am not certain the age on this piece, but most of these temple toys date from the late 1800s through the early 1900s and I would guess the same on this one, which has remnants of its original red paint in a few spots, typical of these toys. The wheels, which were individually cast, are attached to rods and
