I don't know anything about the origins of this carving

and would be great either sitting on the counter or mounted on the wall (there is an old brass bracket attached at some point with one screw to the back for just this purpose)

Reardon was likely not a super accomplished artist, I really love this little watercolor, which has a bit of a Morandi feel to itsuper quiet. The greatest detail is given to the spindle legs of the table, which is rendered from a wonky perspective but just perfect as it is! Clearly someone else was pretty pleased with it too, taking in to the old Fine Art Rooms at Bostons Jordan Marsh for custom framing. 8 1 8 x 9 5 8 x 1 2. A little
