Chunky Strand of Roman Glass Beads Cobalt Blue 2 1/2 outer diameter (50mm18" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces drilled as beads and pendants. Over 2000 years old from various excavations in and around Afghanistan. A variety of chunky teal, blues and greens, mixed sizes. Needs restringing. Sizes range from 8mm diameter to the larger center pendant, 33mm across x 45mm tall. Part of a broken bowl. This ancient glass has calcification, and wonderful rich patina.
