Fancy Inlaid Wood Darning Ball with Treenware Cup sake cups this oak wood box isI thought this lovely old darning ball needed a spot to sit, so am including a sweet old turned wood cup as a freebie. The ball is beautifully crafted of a light and darker wood, and I think may be German, 1920s 1940s or so. The turned blonde wood cup may be older. A pretty pair to set somewhere to admire if not to put the ball to use mending a sock now and then. The ball measures 2 1 4" across. The cup is 2" tall x 2 3 8" wide. The ball is in overall
