Beautifully Worn Old Leather Box Danish pottery with a 1 1/2” inchThis old box would feel right at home in a library or study filled with old books, leather club chairs and maybe a fireplace ( wafting cigar smoke, too!) I'd guess it might have been made as a card box (I believe two decks would fit inside), but would be good for all sorts of things. The leather is wonderfully worn to a warm dark brown and it just has a great feeling to it. The leather hinge connecting the lid to base on the back side is mostly split
