In bronze gilt, engraver marked "FRASER" (James Earle Fraser) on the obverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 40. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, gilt wear overall on the medal and all three clasps, greening and spotting present on the reverse, original ribbon with brooch pinback, the ribbon exhibiting slight fraying where it butts the brooch, better than very fine.
