Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by crossed swords, topped by a Kriegsmarine style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by side oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, designer marked PEEKHAUS, maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 76. 34 mm (w) x 24. 02 mm
