An Obergefreiter’s Greatcoat, c. 1939 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with two screws for attachment(Heer Mantel fr einen Obergefreiter). A well preserved Heer Obergefreiters greatcoat, constructed of field grey wool. It features a turned down collar which is topped by a layer of dark green wool cloth, and which features a reverse integral strap for flush closure against the elements.
