Jean Bouin, French soldier and athlete Size:M: 75 x 50cm St Leger) on 'Galtee More'Jean Bouin, French soldier and athlete, 1912. Bouin (1888 1914) competed at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London and at the 1912 Games in Stockholm, where he won a silver medal in the 5000 metres. A sergeant in the French Army in World War I, he was killed near Saint Michel, Marne.
