Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a raised perched German national eagle, the reverse with a sword plunging into a Hydra, flanked by an inscription of HILF FR KRIEGSGEFANGENE DEUTSCHE 1915 (ASSISTANCE FOR GERMAN PRISONERS OF WAR 1915), unmarked, measuring 60. 10 mm (w) x 88. 61 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
