This is a great collection of images and a necessary volume for any illustration library. The book features 600 color images: many familiar works, as well as rare paintings, studies, and other artwork, including Leyendecker's 322 Saturday Evening Post covers (most reproduced nine to a page). Unfortunately, the text only okay. The authors have dug up some interesting tidbits
