Spain, Kingdom. An Order of Isabella the Catholic, Grand Cross Star visually-hidden Commemorative Medal for the Death(Orden de Isabel la Catolica). Instituted March 24, 1815 by King Ferdinand VII. 1875 1931 Issue. In silver gilt, presenting a four point cross of red enamelled arms with large ball finials, between each arm sits a cluster of seven smooth rays, the obverse medallion features the hand painted insignia of the order, surrounded by a green enamelled wreath with a white enamel banner inscribed A LA LEALTAD ACRISOLADA POR ISABEL LA CATOLICA (To Pure Loyalty,
