Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a vaulted Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central raised mobile swastika situated within dual circular rings, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of an exhibition example
