SOLD Bold and Lyrical Antique Hanging Pin Keep / Needle Book navigational compass and very JapaneseThis one for me is all about color and pattern, with this great color blocking of tan and (thinly striped) blue and white silk on the face, turned into a drawing with the lyrical application of that red thread. Feels like a poem, and a painting. The hinged face flips up to reveal several fabric "pages" for holding needles underneath, and then room for pins all around the sides. With green silk moire on reverse. 7" t (as hung) x 3 3 8" w x 3 4" d.
