There is a fair amount of wear to the paint
which unfold to reveal a purple velveteen interior designed to hold Singer sewing machine attachments
so I think perhaps these were produced during WWI as promotional give aways
amplified by the color and attention paid to their gloves and shorts
Very Fine Cut Paper Weaving #3 (Teapot!) small bowls There is a fair amountI just found three of these lovely old cut paper weavings, listed individually, and think they must have been done by a very dexterous and meticulous school girl, or more likely her teacher, as they are quite finely crafted. This one is burgundy and silver, and the first I've seen that is pictorial, woven to form a teapot! The paper weaving is neatly mounted on a piece of cream colored lightweight cardstock type paper. Overall: 9 1 8" x 9 1 8".
