Wonderful Painted Pine Folk Art House (Tea Caddy?) with Roof Loss sterilized brush Created in 1903 as aThis wonderful house shaped box has lost the overhang of its roof on the back side and has a small loss on the front side too, but I loved it way way too much to leave it behind. With that roof hinged on the left side and a latch on the other, I believe most likely it was made to function as a tea caddy (there are some very fine 19th c example of tea caddies in the form of houses). Painted the perfect yellow with curtained windows and some greenery
