Rotunda Amid Dense Trees, Intriguing and Atmospheric Hudson River School Oil on Linen Painting Fragment, Framed stop sign living in Greenwich Village untilI find this one super atmospheric and evocative, and a bit mysterious, with this rotunda feeling like a long forgotten place, encircled with overgrowth, but inside of which might be something grand! The painting is 19th century Hudson River School, a fragment salvaged from a larger painting I believe. I opened the frame to see it oil on linen and photographed it both inside and outside the frame, as shown. This one feels to me like inspiration for a
