Michel Gahier La Fauquette Melon Arbois 2013 Region:Jura and minimalist winemaking techniques toMelon is a relative to Chardonnay. Evolving over centuries in Arbois. From a single vineyard in Montigny, the wine is aged for one yer in large foudres at which point it is then racked into smaller barrel for an additional three years. In the nose and palate notes of creamy citrus, toasted almond and slightly herbal. Sleeky and refined, with a refreshing texture in the finish.
