And it and feels like a persistent and resilient presence refusing to be erased, even as the rest of the surface looks to have been scrubbed down hard again and again. Some enduring loves (S. L + L. R., etc. too) and this cross or plus sign that feels like the unicorn's personal guiding star! I think
