But recently the theatre went out among the people. Waveney Lee, 18, (on the left), and Maureen Beck, 24, slipped away from rehearsals to do some shopping in the local market and their period costumes caused some eyebrows to be raised, They are appearing in the Albatross, a new play set in the 19th Century. 4th November 1963
