Château Montrose Saint-Estèphe 1979 PINEAU DES CHARENTES minerality and purityChteau Montrose is a second growth in the 1855 Bordeaux classification located in the Saint Estphe commune. The vineyard is spread over 95 hectares and is bordering Cos dEstournel and Pauillac. It is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (32%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petit Verdot (2%). Grapes are hand picked and carefully selected. The vinification takes place in stainless steel vats over 20 days with several pump overs per day to extract
