but the old paint and softened edges and just all over patina on these is to my eye just spectacularly beautiful

and orange next to their toes and tails

with just a little bit of cracking to the surfaces

Old Needlepoint Bookmark with Three Cats bobbin timer giving this bucolic landscape aMuch better in person, this one made more purely happy to discoverwhat a lot of love went into making this three cat bookmark, done with very small needlepoint stitches. The perfect soft green to set off the trio, best I think the big orange face at center, with very expressive black whiskers! There was once wide green ribbon sewn across the backside, much of which has deteriorated, but a new backing could easily be sewn on if desired. Very charming.
