There is plenty of underlying tension and energy to the mouth coating and very serious finish that displays only a touch of rusticity

I have always had a weakness for Roberto Voerzio's 2000 Barolo Cerequio

This needs to develop more depth but if it does this could well be outstanding in time

The sleek, intense and agreeably textured flavors exude a refreshing salinity on the focused, linear and slightly raspy finish that offers a bit more overall depth. Worth checking out.
