Carved Old Wooden Folk Art Head on Block goats copyright 1936This old carved head, with deep and warm dry wood patina, has a bit of an Inuit feel to me; I'm not sure that's the case, but it has that sort of elemental, no fuss purity. There is a nail metal post extending from the neck; I found it stuck into a newish painted piece of wood base, but thought this old block a bit more in keeping, so re positioned it (and easy to do so again if you like.) Including base: 3 3 4" tall. Head itself: 3" t x 2 3 8" w x 1
