The Brunier family had been producing Chteauneuf du Pape for more than a century before branching out and creating "Megaphone" in 2011 in the Ventoux region of the Rhone Valley. They acquired a 5 acre parcel, planning to blend it into one of their other wines, but realizing it was too "distinct and enchanting" to do
