Its bouquet is lively and fruity, revealing notes of ripe fruit and subtle spices. On the palate, it is smooth and full bodied. Ideal with red and braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, it also serves well as a contemplative wine. For optimal enjoyment, allow it to mature for at least three years after bottling and serve at 17 19C, decanting at least 30 minutes prior.
