Very Sweet Georgian Silver Snuff Box with Delicately Engraved Hen Helen Malta drawing an a bit of aI believe this snuff tobacco box is Georgian, late 18th early 19th century I've found a few very very similar examples in terms of the construction and detailing of the box, most notably one sold by Greenwich Auctions in Connecticut (live auctioneers link here); the engraving on that one of a woman amid a simple farm scene was more elaborate, but the manner the same. And though unmarked, this is definitely silver. I fell in love with it though for
