It was pure delight to find this drawing

but this carver clearly had some skills

Atmospheric (and Much Weathered) Antique Oil on Canvas Seascape minimalist ceramics in my opinionThis seascape is dirty, and weathered, with a few patches of exposed canvas and what looks like one hole mended from reverse. But it is atmospheric, and nicely moody, and I am forever a sucker for an old seascape, especially with some roughness to the sea. And I really like the array of boats on far here, all sailing along atop the horizontal line as if the earth were flat! 19 7 8" x 16". Weathered and soiled as documented, with a noticeable scuff
