Lot of 4 Mid 19th Century Penmanship Practice Notebooks painting stand it wouldn't be very muchThough it's a bit difficult to discern some of the handwriting (!), these four notebooks appear to have been the property of a couple of different members of the Heath family of Boston I can clearly read John Heath on one, and I believe Adelbert on a couple of others, and the years 1849 and 1850 appear. I love the paperback covers on these, especially the "lessons in drawings" animals and geometric shapes. Inside, they vary: >>one (the one with
