I underestimated this from cask as there is excellent purity of expression on the nose with a floral red fruit quality followed by remarkably detailed flavors of solid intensity if not necessarily great density with a purity and length that are impressive

An earthier nose combines notes of red and blue pinot fruit, violet and soft spice nuances. There is even better volume to the intense and caressing yet powerful larger scaled flavors that exhibit a taut muscularity on the stony, youthfully austere and impressively persistent finish. This is excellent and should prove to be very long lived.
