SOLD Fabulous Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Box with Painted Lion (One Hinge Loose) carved guns 3 7/8" x 3 5/8"I know this box was found in Allentown, PA and it sure seems Pennsylvania folk art to me, with a fraktur esque quality to this fantastic lion (with marvelously wild, expressive face that keeps reminding me of a rooster, too!) Late 19th c. or so I would guess, with a terrific surface best appreciated through detail photos yum.
