White with Green Roofs, Block House and Garage pottery cat face 1710) to me: famous forThe perfect green paint on the roofs of these two, combined with old white of the houses themselves made them too good to resist, even better for the bleeding of the iron nails against the green. I'm not sure if German or American, but I'd guess 1920s or so, and very sweet. Nice scale and weight. House: 3 1 2 x 3 1 4 x 2 7 8. Garage: l3 1 4 x 3 x 2 1 12. The roof of the (double faced) house shows losses along the edge on one side, maybe from a mouse
