The Ryrie brothers first planted vines in 1838 and created Yering Station, originally a cattle farm and small vineyard. Over the years different families have run the estate and developed it to what it is now, with the Rathbone family buying it in 1996. It is proudly run as Victoria's first vineyard and jewel of the
