which has not led me to its maker

and feels to me most likely done by a Canadian folk artist in the 1970s or 80s or so

This miniature  playpen has a kinship with those iconic Schoenhut circus chairs and pedestals I like so much--quite similar in form and sensibility

As such, he really feels quite singular, and reflective of a particular maker who was probably a bit goofy themself!
