Description
was stained/painted with what I'd describe as a sort of white wash
Her neck has just a bit of floppiness to it when moving her around
There is old glue holding her broken pieces in place and a chip to the corner of her base but she seems stable and in it for the long haul
I can't quite decipher the name written in ink on the inside of the leather cover flap or on the first inside page
SOLD Beautiful Old Steel Planing/Molding Blades (?) in Lovely Two Compartment Wooden Sleeve three keys was stained/painted with what I'dFound at a shop in NH the other day, I had no choice but to bring these home with me, even while not certain their original purpose (maybe originally blades for a crown molding plane?) something about the curves and points and surfaces of the steel forms totally does it for me, as does the old wooden shield shaped box into which they slip (reminding me of the metal boxes sleeves made for holding antique grain painting combs.) I've always got a eye out
