Beautiful Antique Treen Child’s Rattle 1917 which I think could beIve coveted one of these for a long timecomprised of individually carved pieces, akin to a whimsy as well as to an interlocking wooden puzzle, but with the bonus of producing a great sound when shaken. (And it feels a bit like a magic wand, too!) Of the several of these Ive come across, each has been quite different, and I think the form of this one especially lovely, including for the ball shaped end at top. Others Ive seen are most often varnished,
