Old Tin Spinning Top with Excellent Hand-Painted Color old handmade house a performance that was asI'm a sucker for old spinning tops for me as much a vehicle for great color as anything else and this appears an early one, with hand painted rather than lithographed color. I haven't had much luck getting it spinning but haven't tried very hard there are push starters that will fit over the stem of ones like this, though an expert flick of the wrist on a flat surface might do just as well. Personally, I'm very content just to set it somewhere to look
