Mary Elizabeth Greene's 1846-1889 Sketchbook design blocks I wonder who the NellyThis 19th century sketchbook of a Mary Elizabeth Greene has seen better days, with some of the pencil drawings just loose and a fair amount of foxing on a number of them. But there are a few I like a lot, especially the last two chronologically (I have shown them first in photos) one of a boy with a dropped watermelon next to a girl holding her whole one up like a prize, and the other of a girl offering treats to a young wanderer.
