Winter Scene with Pond, Boat, Greetings, and Red Sky, Antique Folk Art Painting On Tin basket of flowers mostly boxes of various sorts)I found this one in New Hampshire this week, in an ugly newer frame, from which I was eager to extract it, and delighted to discover it was in fact painted on a heavy sheet of tin. (Happily, the urge to paint manifests itself on whatever surface one might find.) The rich pinks of the sky and settling sun or full rising moon? is what drew me to it from across the room (with a nice reflection in the pond too) but what sold me are the three figures, boy
