When I first saw him I immediately associated the black painted plaque he is mounted to as looking like a crescent moon

5 1/8 x 7 1/6 framed

and the finer plaid shows some thread loss--but the pin cushion will stand on end like a little sculpture

and with rusting to the wire

I really love the way those piled logs were drawn too, contained between the stumps of the trees which, one presumes, yielded them. 4 3 4" x 4". Graphite on lined school paper, very good condition, earlyish 20th century.
