The 'crested titmouse' and the 'upright honysuckle' burnt Belmont House'Parus cristatus', the crested titmouse, and 'Cistus virginiana, flore & odore periclymeni', the upright honysuckle [honeysuckle] (Catesby's identifications; modern scientific names: Baeolophus bicolor, the tufted titmouse; Rhododendron viscosum, the swamp azalea). Plate 57 from volume I of The natural history of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands by Mark Catesby (London, 1731). Mark Catesby was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1733.
