Part of what really makes this little snapshot for me is the tiny sun (a glimpse of a sign or billboard I guess) peeking out just about the roof of the motel at far right

And a photo of a chair set within a chair seems quite right, too! Clearly it has lived here for quite a long time, as removing it reveals a much brighter tone of stain.
