Primitive Antique Wood and Tin Grain Scoop stitching with just a bit ofI believe this old grain scoop, with turned wood handle, likely dates to the 19th century, and I think it is just a gorgeous object! The handle extends through a hole in the flat, semi circular wooden base of the scoop like a plug, with its terminus visible on the interior of the scoop. Meanwhile, the beautifully shaped tin of the scoop wraps around the sides of the base, overlapping the the front and joined with a nail. Nothing extraneous, just a
