Cohn in the 1940s
which I might guess dates to the earlyish 19th century
from which pieces were bitten off or cut
with interesting braid-like stitching for the mouth
Twins in Striped Hats and Scarves and Wooly Snowsuits, in Wagon, Old RPPC antique figurative painting Cohn in the 1940sThese two. Actually twins, or just sisters, we can't know for sure, but certainly twinned as far as the photo goes in their matching hats and scarves and wooly outfits. I especially like the formal rhyme between their stripes and the horizontal stripes of the stairs behind them, made all the better by the framing of the photo with wide margin below and thin strip of repeat of those stairs at far right. 5 3 8" x 3 3 8" and in good condition, unused
