Description
This is very good and should amply reward mid-term cellaring
13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc
This lingers long
I mildly prefer the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet because of its marginally better sense of verve but I underscore that the difference is slight and it’s obviously an open question as to how the two wines will compare over time – in sum
Bruno Colin, Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie Blanc Vintage:2022 This is very good and(from Ez Crets). A vague whiff of exoticism can be found on the aromas of white peach, floral and citrus confit. On the palate there is again excellent cut and punch to the lightly stony middleweight flavors that terminate in a clean, bright and nicely dry finish that is well balanced. Im normally not a huge fan of Maltroie blancs but this is really quite good.
