000 of these tin birds were pinned up around the state (I really love envisioning that giant flock of these hung up everywhere

and paper is a little brittle

I think it is possible that the insert was custom made at a later date for this particular foot

though one was pierced on the bottom side rather than the top

More Old Clay Marbles! Set 3 primitive knife 000 of these tin birdsI'm not over my obsession with old clay marbles, and have just added four new (old) sets to the shop. I really love how each batch I've found has a different personality, and, like rocks, each marble is unique. Just so lovely. About 50 marbles exactly as shown. They are making pretty dramatic shadows against this white plate! These average about 1 2" in diameter, some a little bigger, some a little smaller. I've tried to weed out any with much damage,
