Hand-carved Cat Corkscrew After Richard Rohac Niddy Noddy whimsey What fun to have thisI have to think this sweet hand carved corkscrew was inspired by the somewhat iconic modern brass cat shaped corkscrew by Austrian designer Richard Rohac, circa 1950, which it mirrors to a t. I really like the thought of its maker, upon seeing (and perhaps coveting) that one, decided to make his or her own version in wood. And I think they did a pretty great job, creating a softer, homespun version of the mid century classic. Very sweet, and this one
