I can't find any information about "Glove" Brand Rubbers or figure out the company that produced them--and am not entirely sure if the crate contained rubber surgical gloves (invented in the 1890s)

Very Beautiful 1838 German Catechism Book with Hand-printed Paper Cover tweety bird With lovely design and illustrationsThis, and a second PA German catechism book also listed today, are all about book as object for me namely about the gorgeous hand printed paper on the cover boards; the mustard and green gridded pattern here just makes me swoon, and feels as contemporary as it does 1830s (this one published in 1838). As beautiful as any wallpaper band box, and takes up much less space! 5 9 16" x 3 11 16". Very good condition.
