The Host of the Air, 1964 Anne Gregory Signed Etching wooden shoe bank 5 " l x 2A wonderfully dreamy and also a bit (aptly) melancholic mid century style etching, which I found in Kansas City, and which is signed by an Anne Gregory, though I have found nothing about her. The title, "The Host of the Air," points to the Yeats poems of the same name, about a young man dreaming of his bride "of the long dim hair" being stolen away by another, while a piper pipes away, "And never was piping so sad, And never was piping so gay."
