Antique Japanese Dragon Flower Frog Northwest coast native Massachusetts that included mid-century furnishingsThis charming Japanese dragon shaped cast iron or lead flower ikebana frog I believe dates from the 1930s. While certainly a functional base for a dramatic floral arrangement, it's also just a wonderfully unusual and curious object. I found it at a terrific estate sale in Concord, MA, which included everything from shaker furniture to antique tools to mid century modern art and ceramics. 4. 5w 2. 75d 1. 25h. Excellent condition.
